On a Brighter Note

Have I mentioned how much I love my cookie press? Check out these cute heart cookies I made for Will's Valentine class party tomorrow. I tinted the dough with red food coloring (which I still think makes food taste funny...)
I think they are just adorable.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm so sorry you have had such a tradegic month. I am glad you enjoyed making Valentine cookies for the boys! They are cute!! I dream of having a cookie press someday. My sister-in-law has one and she makes the cutest Christmas cookies. Enjoy it! Hope this coming month is brighter for you and your family, Ginger.

Funny that you made heart shaped cookies as I made heart shaped brownies for Caleb's party tomorrow. I too think that food coloring makes the food taste different.

Ginger...I saw red food color gel in the cake decorating section of Walmart the other day (the wedding cake section) that said Red Red (No Taste). I never knew about the taste thing, so I just bought the regular Red Red (don't know why they double it!) for Will's birthday cake. Maybe you'll like that better...and it will actually make red, not just pink, if you want it to! :) Cute cookies!

Will's class isn't having a party, and even if they were, we're not allowed to bring anything sweet. (I actually forgot that and sent in a bag of Smarties anyway!) I do think they're having a snack of Teddy Grahams and juice boxes. Woo hoo! :) Happy Valentine's Day!
