We're Home!

Some of our dear friends hosted a "Welcome Home" party for us last night. It was so much fun seeing all our friends and watching all the kids play. I'm not sure who had more fun- the adults or the kids!
Our friends that hosted the party have a beautiful home with a great backyard that backs up to a golf course. The kids had so much fun running up and down the fairways and digging for buried treasure in the sand trap.
Some of the girls
Sweet little girls Ryan Grace and Blair Frances

This was Ryan by the end of the night. Hot, sweaty, and exhausted- but didn't want to stop driving the jeep. Look how tired!!

*Side Note: On the house- yes, we are moved in- no, not settled. Rows and rows of boxes lining the garage that may or may not ever get unpacked! I'm kind of enjoying the minimalistic look of the house without a bunch of "stuff" everywhere!

So very glad you guys are "home!" Of course, we miss you here in Knoxville, but I'm glad you are home.

How wonderful to return to such a big bunch of friends who already know and love you! What a great welcome home. Hope the move in is going well...post some pictures of the new place when you get the chance!

What a blessing to be welcomed by such a lovely group of friends!! Good luck with the unpacking..we've been in our house a month and we still have tons of boxes in our garage. It just takes time when you have kiddos running around.

Glad to hear that you are "settled" a little. It is great to have friends to go back to (though your friends here miss you, while getting Madison ready for church this morning she said "I see Ryan!"). She really likes him :) After living with lots of stuff boxed up the last year I too have come to enjoy the minimalistic look and may continue it :)

It's nice to know so many people were waiting for your return! Of Course you will be missed here- but we can still stay in touch through our blogs!
I knopw what you mean about the minimalist look- we've been trying to phase out a lot of knick-Knacks and I like it a lot better! Less to dust!
